series by looking at the fact that Jesus is Creator. Now I don't know how it has settled

with you, your experience in church, but we tend to think of God the Father as the Creator.

You know our minds immediately go to Genesis, chapter 1, chapter 2, chapter 3. And we think

of God as the Creator and then when we think of Jesus we don't necessarily think of Him as

being involved in creation. Yet the Bible clearly says, Jesus is part of the Trinity, He's

part of the Godhead and that He is the Creator. Let's look at Colossians chapter 1 verses 15

through 17. Speaking of Jesus here, the Apostle Paul says, He is the image of the invisible

God, the force born of all creation, for by Him all things were created in heaven and

on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities, all

things were created through Him and for Him. Wow, that passage has so much in it. I'm

not even sure we'll get through it all in this episode, but we're going to give it a shot.

Now notice it says, Jesus is the image of the invisible God. That's telling us when

He was walking the planet, He was showing us what God was like. He was showing us His

divine character through the way He interacted with human beings. And then it says He's the
