OP's side here. $11,000 a month? That's $132K per year. I'm a 34-year-old guy, a physician and an only child. My parents are in their

late 60s with serious health issues. My mom has a slow-growing cancer, and my dad has Alzheimer's.

It's currently mild, he's still driving, and he's managing day-to-day. In terms of outlook,
