This is your podcasting bit on the side with me, Anna White House,

and Polly Hazelwood, my best mate in this room. And on the table today is where this podcast began,

sort of women's healing circles, spirituality and sort of tarot. So I first came across tarot cards

about five years ago when I met Shelley. She's a holistic

therapist working cognitively, physically with an energy matrix. I'm going to say that to help

people create balance and navigate through their own personal journey. Welcome to Dirty Motherpucker

Shelly Murphy. Yeah, in the house.

If you said to me, I'm going to pull your angel cards. I was like, can you please step away,

please. I'm not here for this. And we've been on a bit of a journey, the three of us, understanding

where spirituality kind of sits with

psychotherapy a little bit. Were you skeptical about the spiritual side? Yeah, totally skeptical.

Actually, my mum did the cards and I had a spa in Tumberidge Wells and I'd spent all this money

building this beautiful thing with

you know studios for yoga and treatment rooms and therapy rooms and then everybody just kept coming

to have a reading with my mum so that was my introduction to it I was just like oh what is she doing

this is really well we work together obviously my mom yeah my mom was just there and everyone was

drawn to her and she did the castle that was my introduction my introduction, really. I just thought, okay, I better find out what she's doing before I kind of let this carry on. Would she read your cards as a kid? Yeah, she would. And she's a healer as well. So I wasn't not open to energy work and all the rest of it. But I did do a teenage kickback on the whole thing.

But yeah, skeptical, obviously just saw it real time opening people up and it really helped
