Hey, Michael Steele Podcast listeners, Michael Steele here with another quick take from the

Welcome back everybody to the Michael Steele Podcast. So Rick Wilson is in the house, as

0:21.7

we say, and it is always good when he is. So Rick, we were talking about the Democrats

0:28.2

and how they really can't seem to get out of their way, how they like 2020 will need

0:35.4

some help. When we get on the other side of this election, let's say that Biden prevails,

0:47.0

as I think may very well happen, Republicans lose the house and they don't gain any ground

0:55.4

on the Senate because of the toxic narratives that they're putting out there. Does that become

1:01.8

a stabilizing moment or opportunity to re re rebalance the democracy narrative? Or would

1:12.0

we see at that point this hard manga environment, hardness self even further and just get going

1:20.7

full on board all out in your face war?

1:25.5

1:49.1

at an electoral level, that the Mogga folks are going to keep haunting us for a while. Now,

1:55.7

there is a possibility they get wrecked at the electoral level. I would like that. I don't

2:00.7

think there's a path back to a center right party in this country until you basically raise

2:06.7

the political cost of being one of these authoritarian nationalist, populous weirdos. But that's

2:13.7

a tough road to hoe. It's a hard assignment. I think while Trump revealed a lot about where

2:20.7

the party is and it corrupted it in a lot of profound ways, there isn't a critical mass

2:26.7

on our side to rebuild a center right party based on limited government, individual liberty,
