Hey friends, welcome to the next episode in my quick response series in which I respond briefly

to popular claims I see online that sound good and draw in a lot of Christians, but fail from

a biblical and or logical perspective.

Today I'm responding to an ex post from

author and speaker Preston Sprinkle. Preston often promotes the idea that Christians are like

exiles in Babylon and should avoid being associated with one political party more than another.

The specific post I'm replying to in this episode says this, quote,

My political theology has allowed me to be so hopeful in this political season. I reject the

empire, yet submit to it, because Jesus is king. I embrace and celebrate Christ's multi-ethnic

kingdom in the many ways we are spreading good in the world.

Christians should not be captivated by the binary political playing field that's been handed to us by Babylon, end quote.

So I'm going to break this down, but first I want to quickly remind you that my new book is
