Hey everyone. Welcome to the Natasha Crane podcast. Well, you guys, I am really fired up today. I didn't even

plan on recording an episode, but I was on social media and gasp. Something really upset me.

I know that's shocking that social media can do

that to us, but I was so upset by a six-minute video that I came across on X this morning

that I had to record this podcast right away. So the website and X account, protestia.com,

got a hold of a training video from Andy Stanley's North Point Church

in the Atlanta area on how middle school small group leaders should respond to trans identifying

kids and their families. The video is of a guy named Britt Kitchen, and Kitchen is the transit

director for North Point Church. So transit is the middle school ministry there. And the video

that Protestia posted is about six minutes and it's extracted from a longer 20 minute video. Well,

this training clip is so egregious that I had to make an episode about it. There are two reasons

why you need to care. First, North Point Church is a huge church with huge

influence. So from estimates that I've seen online, they have an average weekly attendance

of over 50,000 people. The head pastor, Andy Stanley, has gotten more and more progressive

over time. But a lot of people still aren't aware of the problems going on in his church and with

what he's preaching. So I'm still out here waving a flag, as I do periodically about him, saying

that this is the stuff going on at this huge church with tons of influence in the Atlanta area.

And a lot of people still assume that he's biblically solid. I still have people when I will mention

him online who respond and say, well, what's wrong with Andy Stanley? Well, here's an episode

where we can talk about just one example of what's been going on there. The second reason you should

care is that this is a really great case study of how completely unbiblical views of trans issues are being presented

within the church and it's fooling people. This is manipulative stuff. It is fully deceptive.
