If you brought your Bibles this evening, would you turn, please, to 2nd Peter, the third chapter?

We began some weeks ago on a teaching we're calling questions about healing.

Questions about healing.

And we're dealing with some questions that people have concerning divine healing,

God's will to heal, just a number of things.

And one reason we're doing it is this text here in 2. Peter 3 talks about this second peter 3 and 16 well at

verse 15 let's back up to it says talks about the long suffering of our lord is salvation

even as our beloved brother paul according to the wisdom given to him,

has written unto you, as also in all his epistles speaking in them of these things,

in which are some things hard to be understood.

Another way of saying that is solid meat, word of God.

You know, milk is easy to be swallowed.

Steak has to be chewed.

And so he was talking about some things that the Lord had given through Paul.

They have to be chewed.

Which they that are unlearned and unstable rest as they do also the other scriptures until their own destruction.

You therefore, beloved seeing you know these things before, beware lest you also being led away with the error of the wicked fall from your own steadfastness but grow in grace and in the knowledge of our

lord and savior jesus christ to him be glory both now and forever amen the amplified of verse 16

let's put that up there.

It said, the ignorant and unstable twist and misconstrue those writings, those scriptures, to their own utter destruction,

just as they distort and misinterpret the rest of the scriptures.

So it was that way then, it's that way today, that people take scriptures and twist them
