Right now, as we go through the rest of the New Orleans Palicans when we started that last week, for those of you wondering, am I still in Berlin? No, I'm not actually. I'm in Amsterdam at the moment. So if you are in Amsterdam and you're Dutch, if you're not Dutch, even if you're still just in Amsterdam. Come say hi. Find me. Again, small place, I'm pretty easy to spot. Definitely no other tall people in Amsterdam, so I'll stand out. Guys, we're talking New Orleans Palicans. So let's get into talking about the Pelicans and let's look at how the season actually played out before we get into some more specific players.

Were they good? No, no, no, no, they weren't.

Were they trying to be good? Yeah. But, yeah, didn't work out that way, did it?

26 and 56, the team was. A negative 45, not 40, geez, negative 45 net rating would be a huge number. A negative 4.5 net rating, which placed them 21st in the NBA. But the 26 and 56 is somewhat misleading. They did really boost their win total, which, much to the chagrin of both the Hawks and the Bucks, feasting on teams deliberately losing at the end when they weren't.

They were playing full-strength lineups, but when they had to play teams with full-strength lineups early in the season, they couldn't win a single game. And that is why Willie Green was fired almost immediately. James Barago was a little better, but still pretty questionable, I think, at times, with some of his rotation decisions, but also the ingredients that he was given were not necessarily the best.

They only have one draft

pick currently in this draft. It is a terrible one, pick number 58, because they believe that

trading away their lottery pick in this draft would be the right decision. Not that it's a good

draft or anything like that. So they thought, let's get one of the worst picks we possibly can

have, pick 58. That's what they got. So, you know, the just generational run of nonsense from this squad, we'll see whether it continues. But draft picks, we don't have to worry too much about those ones for this upcoming season at this point. Free agents. There's not many guys that we've got to worry about the contract decisions.

Kavon Luni has an $8 million team option, and I'll give you this. If this team, if the

brains trust of Joe Dumas and Troy Weaver pick up the $8 million team option on Kavon Luni,
