Canada, Quebec Canada, once upon a time my visit to Quebec City overwhelmed me with the

history of North America reminding me that these are two countries that share a common

enterprise, colonies and revolutions and war fighting and then brotherhood in the Second

War and ever since.

However, Quebec is a particular part of Canada because it's French speaking and English

speaking and it has an advantage that everyone else in Envis, which is hydroelectric.

So it's a great pleasure to welcome the delegate general of the Quebec government,

Mocking Abert, who is in New York representing Quebec to eight cities, the Mid-Atlantic

cities, but especially in terms what I'm interested in, energy and the relationship between

US needs of energy and the ability of Quebec to produce energy.

What is the thinking now in Quebec for energy and your role in the energy of North America?

I'm very happy to be with you today.

I think that you mentioned that Quebec is one of the world biggest producer of hydroelectricity,

which is a green and clean energy.

And thanks to the decision that governments took many decades ago when they had this vision

of building these facilities to produce hydroelectricity.

This is a great advantage for Quebec, but this is a great advantage also for our neighbors,
