over at Fangraphs in 2016, a lot has changed. Do you feel like you were really onto something 10 years

ago with quantifying deception.

Yeah, I mean, it was poorly done.

I guess I was just sort of ham-fisted math. And I took basically release point and tried to make a model that predicted movement against

release point.

And then I looked at people who had the most deviation from it.

And some of the stuff was not so helpful because it was like Darren O'Day and Brad Ziegler,

where it's like, oh, they're just, they just have a really weird release point.

But it is interesting because some of those problems still exist to till today.
