Hey everybody Rob Maurer here and today we're going to be going through delivery and production

0:11.1

estimates for Tesla's fourth quarter.

0:13.3

They should expect, we expect them to report these sometime on Sunday or Monday and today

0:18.8

I'm just going to go through both the consensus estimates as well as the my own forecast

0:24.0

which hopefully no major shocks here as we've kind of been keeping track of this throughout

0:27.4

the quarter so it should be relatively quick to go through this time but we'll see where

0:32.1

my final estimates are for both production and deliveries for both key for and then

0:36.0

for the year as well as we wrap this up so first things first just quick quick update

0:41.7

on the news obviously Tesla this morning in terms of the stock was down a bit as there

0:45.7

was news of recall of about 300,000 Model 3's and 115,000 or so Model S's for different

0:52.4

reasons the Model 3 something to do with the trunk and when latching potentially messing

0:57.9

up with the rear view camera so not really any major safety concern on that one I don't

1:02.5

think and then on the Model S there's just some front trunk issues where potentially

1:08.4

things could get released and the trunk could then or the front trunk had been fly up.

1:13.1

So Tesla will obviously be able to handle those with service most likely mobile service

1:17.8

in most cases and I think the market kind of realizing that after the news this morning

1:22.4

of that recall so Tesla rebounding nicely here up about half a percent right now.

1:28.2

Let's just make sure this is working okay I am live so for anyone that is listing on

1:36.0

the audio this is going to be pretty spreadsheet heavy as these episodes usually are all right

1:42.0

so let's flip over to excel here then just a quick FYI I'm leaving we're doing this early

1:48.8

in the day because I have to catch a flight in about two and a half hours so we're going

1:54.5

to hustle through this and I won't have time to get to any questions so just keep that
