Hello and welcome to the Wednesday January 30th 2019 edition of Tesla Daily on

Maower. Today we are of course talking about the Q4 earnings report.

Tesla stock yesterday closed at $277.46 and on the day today was up 3.80 to $3.78.77 prior to earnings being reported.

After hours now, the stock is down 4.8% from the close, putting it at $204 per share, so only

down 1.5% from yesterday's close.

After the Volatility settled down after their earnings report was published,

seemed to settle in there kind of in the low 300s, down maybe 1% after hours,

until Elon at the end of the call gave a closing comment and announced that Depakuja, the CFO, will be retiring from Tesla for the second time,

but will still serve as an advisor to the company.

You may remember after Jason Wheeler, the CFO that replaced

Depok after his first retirement, left the company. Depok stepped in, came back.

It's already been a couple years now, so at this point completely understandable for

Depok to be retiring again as Depok said on the call there's never a good time to do

that but this seemed as good a time as any with the company being on pretty stable ground after posting two quarterly

profits in a row for the first time in company history.

So congratulations to Depok for retiring.

I as well as I'm sure most listeners would like to thank and express my appreciation for

Depok and his time at Tesla, the business that he's helped develop.

It sounds like Depok will stay on for another couple of months.

However, at that point, Tesla will be filling

the role internally with Zach Kirkhorn. Zach is relatively young, I think in his
