Hello and welcome to the Friday March 29th

0:09.7

2019 edition of Tesla Daily on Official Tesla Podcast.

0:13.5

My name is Rob Maower.

0:14.3

Today we are talking about Q1 deliveries,

0:17.2

as well as a little bit of news on full self-driving hardware.

0:20.6

Tesla stock on the day today did finish up 0.45% to $279.86

0:26.4

this compared to the Nasdaq up 0.78%. There may be just one trading day left

0:31.8

until we get the key one delivery and production numbers.

0:35.6

My current expectation for timing on those numbers would be prior to market open on Tuesday,

0:40.8

April 2nd, but they could be released anytime on or before April 3rd.

0:45.3

Again, in case you missed it earlier, the consensus estimate right now for model 3 deliveries by analysts

0:50.0

0:58.4

I do expect a miss on the SNX numbers.

1:00.9

I think deliveries there are more likely to be somewhere around, maybe

1:04.9

18,000.

1:05.9

In the Q4 earnings report shareholder letter, Tesla's guidance for SNX was, quote,

1:10.4

we are expecting our model SNX deliveries in Q1, 2019 to be slightly below

1:15.4

Q1 2018, end quote. In Q1 2018, Tesla delivered 21,800 SNX vehicles combined.

1:24.0

So slightly below that could mean something around 20,000,

1:27.4

which appears to be where the consensus is kind of forming, too.

1:30.6

However, on the conference call that happened after the $35,000 model 3 announcement, which was almost a month after the Q4 shareholder letter was published,

1:39.6

Musk said on that call that they would expect to produce somewhere between 70,000 and 100,000
