Hello and welcome to the Thursday, March 28th, 2019 edition of Tesla Daily Unofficial Tesla Podcast.

My name is Rob Mower. This is going to be a really, really short episode.

I do apologize for that. There's not a whole lot going on today.

Days like this are a little bit tough for me because I do want to have that daily consistency as much as possible,

but sometimes I do feel like that time is better utilized really digging in to the business and

analyzing things that maybe take a little bit more time, which hopefully benefits the content then later on.

My sense is that is the preference from listeners as well, but I do obviously get somewhat limited

feedback so it can be difficult to discern those things at times.

So it's a balance but just know that I am doing everything that I can to make this podcast

the best and most informative podcast that it can be.

All that being said, I think the most important news of today

is the news that Tesla has extended the tender offered deadline

for the Maxwell Technologies acquisition. Previously, the tender offer expired after April 2nd.

That expiration date has now been changed to expire after April 10th.

In the filing announcing this, Tesla also gave an update on the status of the tender offer by saying

quote the depository of the offer has advised that as of 5 p.m. Eastern time on March 27th

2019 a total of approximately 6 million shares of Maxwell Common Stock had been validly

tendered and not validly withdrawn in the offer.

Maxwell Technologies has about 46 million shares outstanding so only 6 million

being tendered so far and this is actually the second extension that we've seen

previously the tender offer was set to expire on March 19th.
