Thank you for joining us for a Thursday edition of our podcast, which is

Q&A Day. And we're very grateful for all of your questions and comments and insights and hope

that you will keep them coming as we close out October of 2025. And we'll soon be saying hello, I guess, to Thanksgiving

and Christmas and all that good stuff. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. We'll just take

what we have today in the form of questions. And I look forward to hearing what's on your mind. Well, Trey, we have some great questions

today as always. They're extremely thoughtful. So we'll get started on those. We'll start with Joseph

from Nevada who writes, why are Republicans not putting a spotlight on the fact that the vote to

open Congress in the Senate had more than 50% of the vote.

Well, Joseph, I think they are. They're certainly trying to. Every Republican who has appeared,

at least on my show, or that I've seen on other people's shows, has made the point the House

passed the bill. and every Republican senator

voted to reopen government now more than a dozen times. In fact, three Democrat senators have

voted to reopen government, but as we know, under Senate rules, it takes 60. So the pressure

should be on senators like John Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, who represent

red states, in their case, Georgia, but yet will not vote to open government or even pay

workers.

But you do highlight an interesting point.

I used to get asked all the time, why don't you guys and gals talk about X or Y or Z?

And the answer was then and probably still is that we are talking about it.

We just don't control what the media covers or what message is amplified or not on the media.

That's one of my many complaints with the media.
