Welcome back to the show. I'm your host, Dr. Adrian Chavez, and today we have a Q&A episode where

0:16.1

we are going to cover three topics. The first topic that we're going to cover is caffeine and coffee and health.

0:22.7

Is caffeine harmful to your health? Or is coffee harmful to your health? So we'll kind of cover both

0:28.4

of those. Caffeine as a whole and then coffee specifically. And the second topic that we are

0:34.5

going to cover is cooking oils. What should you cook with? Should you cook with butter, margarine, seed oils, olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, and all of the other different options available. So we're going to discuss that. And the last question that we're going to cover is something that I've been hearing a lot recently. I've been getting this question quite a bit. 1:21.6

and discuss what you actually need to know and pay attention to when it comes to milk,

1:26.4

potentially influencing the absorption of

1:29.2

nutrients from berries.

1:30.5

But let's go ahead and jump into the first topic that I want to discuss, and that is whether

1:35.6

or not caffeine is harmful to our health.

1:38.7

And the answer to that is no.

1:40.3

There is good evidence to suggest that caffeine consumption up to safe upper limits,

1:47.0

which is established at 400 milligrams per day, that's going to vary depending on your body

1:52.5

size. Some people can tolerate a little bit more than that. Some people are only going to be

1:56.4

able to tolerate less than that. But the established upper limit for caffeine consumption is 400 milligrams
