All right, this first question is from Christina. Hi, Shandee.

I recently ended a 10-month relationship. The man, 27, I was dating, 24, put in some

much effort at the beginning of the relationship. We went on fun and unique dates, had amazing and

frequent sex, and it just felt like there was a great connection there. I was hesitant to start a

relationship because I had recently ended one, but I felt such a pull to be with him and was

having so much fun with him, I felt like I was ready to try this. After he asked me to be his

girlfriend, it felt like the effort immediately changed. We had sex maybe once a week, which I

always felt like I had to initiate, and we stopped having fun dates. He soon began looking for

another job a month after we became officials, so I figured maybe he was focused more on his career.

When I told him my concerns, he told me that he wants a house and a family in the next three years

and that he doesn't see a point in working all the time if he can't have a family he cares for

eventually. Personally, I don't subscribe to the whole marriage and kids by ex-year mentality,

but I told him that if my relationship with my partner is healthy and it feels right,

I could see myself wanting that too and that I definitely wanted to pursue a serious relationship
