Today's Q&A question comes from Melissa.

0:03.0

Melissa is a student of my online course Dream to Garden,

0:06.0

and as she was working through the planning elements of her garden for this summer,

0:10.0

she started thinking about travel, and so this is her question.

0:14.0

When doing this module, I kept thinking about summer travel.

0:17.0

I know I will be out of town a few times during the summer,

0:20.0

and I worry about

for me, I plan in advance. And so I plan my vacations around my garden season. I know when

1:07.3

it's going to be a lighter time for my garden so usually I will plan to go out

1:12.5

of town during those times so the times that I know that I'm going to be really

1:16.9

busy in the garden especially with harvesting and preserving season I try to

1:21.5

avoid going out of town during those times if at all possible and sometimes I

1:26.0

will plan certain plantings around when I think I'm going

1:29.5

to harvest something. For example, one year I delayed my corn planting because I didn't want to be
