In today's Q&A, I'm going to answer a question I received about growing herbs.

Last week, I was filming some videos on harvesting herbs that will be part of the Harvest to Kitchen online course

that many of you guys have joined this year as the beta course, and then next year I'll be adding more videos.

And you're the first to hear, I'll be adding more videos and you're the first to

hear I'll be adding herbs to the course next year so if you're already a student of Harvest

But all that to say,

I was filming videos on harvesting herbs because my herbs have experienced a explosive growth this fall,

and I posted a picture of them on Instagram. And then I got a couple of questions and two questions

that I received, I thought were really good ones that I thought a lot of people

probably have these questions as well. One came from Judy and she said, do you container grow them?

I want to have some near my kitchen door, but not sure about trying to grow in the container.

Will they grow as well as in ground and then Holly also asked I

have a lot of herbs growing in bags and I'm concerned about them being root

bound and not doing well after one season what do you grow in yours especially

perennials which are herbs that come back year after year she says she's

considering building an herb raised bed.

So these are questions I think are fantastic

and ones that lots of beginners probably have.
