So I'm going to try my best to keep this under 10 minutes, but I know it's a lot to deal with,

so let's get right into it.

So first of all, why is TikTok being banned?

Now, the primary concern is that it is a Chinese app and there are privacy concerns.

So sensitive data that could be acquired by the Chinese government that may potentially be

used against the U.S. one day. Now, this is all speculation. Obviously, the app claims certain things and the U.S.

government claims certain things. I'm not here to make any political statements or assumptions,

but that is the main concern as to why TikTok is potentially going to be banned in the U.S.

Now, this isn't the first time that the U.S. government has tried to ban TikTok.

There's already been concerns for a few years and there's already been attempts to ban TikTok.

And in fact, TikTok has already been banned in some other countries, like notably India has

completely banned TikTok and several other Chinese

apps as well. And that's why Reels is very, very popular in India because they don't have access
