Summary

In the first half of the episode, Sarah addresses two audio Q&A, one from a digital planning-curious listener and another juggling many professional demands with a 5 month old! A listener writes in about another seasonal family planning option - the 3-month Essential Calendar (https://www.theessentialcalendar.com). Finally, a fellow podcaster writes in with a question on where to keep those tasks that are 'not now, but someday' so that they don't get lost. Then, Sarah dives into the MaskeLife 6 month Undated Planner & Goal-Setting System. Listen for her true thoughts + a full walk through! Episode Sponsors: PrepDish! Check out PrepDish.com/plans for your first two weeks free! In addition to the Super fast menus that I love, PrepDish has gluten free, Paleo & low carb options so there is truly something for everyone. Learn more about your ad choices. You've talked about digital planning and

using things like Google Calendar, To Do-Doist, Trello, etc. But I haven't heard you mention digital

1:01.9

planners. I've seen videos of people using an app called Good Notes to plan. Even Passion

1:08.1

Planner has a digital version. You can even get digital planners from Etsy. So do you know of anyone who plans this way? Thanks again for your podcast. All right. So what a great question. I have to admit, I do not have a lot of expertise in this area. And it is not because I think it's a bad idea

1:29.8

or anything like that. I have to admit the concept doesn't really appeal to me personally.

1:37.1

And the reason for that is because you guys know so much of what I love about planners

1:42.5

and using great pens and writing on great paper

1:46.2

is the tactile and sensory experience of doing that. I like the fact that it's not on a screen,

1:53.7

that I don't have to turn on my device, that I can be entirely disconnected from windows

1:58.4

that are going to pop up and distract me and that I can just

2:00.8

kind of see the page as its own separate thing. And therefore, I have not wanted to mesh that

2:06.3

experience or change it by bringing it to a tablet screen. I know that's not, you know,
