questions. My question is, is my boyfriend's friendship weird, or am I just not as open-minded?

I, 25 female, have been dating 29M male for three months now in a small city in Virginia, and we are

exclusive. He is funny, charismatic,

talkative, attentive, and overall things have been going well. However, this is the first

friendship that I have been in where the guy has way more female friends than male friends.

He has multiple female friends, six or seven, as well as exes that he talks to regularly at least once a week.

I'd like to mention that all of his female friends do not live in the same state that we are in,

so he is unable to meet up with them. One of his female friends, Kay, he is particularly close with

and texts every day and engages in long, hours long, phone calls at least once a week. He has lived with her

for a year, has taken a month-long trip with her where they've shared a room before we started

dating, and he constantly brings her up in almost every conversation. He also talks to Kay about me a lot
