What if a foreign regime weaponized its intelligent services to affect the outcome of an American election?

And what if it did so to elect a candidate who would serve a foreign dictator's interest?

And what if much of the news media acted as a passive accomplice to that authoritarian leader

by widely disseminating stolen information but not focusing that much on who stole it or what?

And what if the sitting administration found out what the foreign power had done but didn't retaliate

or make that big a deal out of it publicly?

And then what if the candidate aided by the foreign dictator won a narrow victory?

And what if the new President-elect said he believed the denials of the foreign dictator,

not the powerful evidence presented to him by his own intelligence agencies?

And what if a Congress controlled by the incoming president's party just wanted to sweep the
