eight years into my career. I get to a point where for the first time of my life, I felt like I

wasn't working towards something. And I always wanted to be the best. And so when I got to San Diego, I trained there. And for the first time I'm life, I was like, I was like, okay, what's next? And I was like looking around the room. And I'm like, fuck, like, they have a mandatory retirement at age 56. And these folks, when they retire, like, they don't look healthy. They look fucking. People are overweight. They got bad food in there. People are stressed out. I mean, it's one of the highest stress jobs in America.

This is the crazy part, Brad.

A lot of these guys would retire.

And, like, within six months, they'd be dead.

You were on the Bradley podcast, and I heard you.

And you were talking about boutique hotels.

And I thought, fuck, this is a really smart idea.

And the way I started to think about it was it's like buying short-term rentals on steroids that's the way I thought about it so you've got these

short-term rentals so people coming in you know into the boutique hotel staying a couple of nights staying a

night staying a night staying you know maybe a little bit longer hotel staying a couple of nights, staying a night, staying, you know,

maybe a little bit longer than that, and then they're gone. You remake the room, you bring
