I love it. I'm going to continue reading through 1 Peter and then I'll pray and then we'll

live by then. Picking it up in chapter 2 verse 1 Peter says this, therefore, read yourselves of

all malice and of all deceit, hypocrisy, envy and slander of every kind like newborn babies crave

the pure spiritual milk so that by it you may grow up in your salvation. Now that you have tasted

that the Lord is good. As you come to him the living stone that's Christ rejected by humans but

chosen by God and precious to him, you also like living stones are being built into a spiritual

house to be a royal or holy priesthood offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus

Christ. For in scripture it says, see I lay in a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone,

and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame. Now to you who believe this stone Jesus

is precious but to those who do not believe the stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,

a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall. They stumble because they

disobey the message which is also what they were destined for but you are a chosen people,

a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession that you may proclaim or declare the

praises of him who called you out of darkness and into his marvel the slight once you were not a people

but now you have become the people of God once you had not received mercy but now you have received

mercy. Let me pray. Father we thank you just for the words of Peter, would you use them tonight

to strengthen our hearts, to make us fall more in love with the cornerstone with our Savior with

Jesus, to make us look more like Jesus, to make us see more of Jesus. Pray for a new in this room

who doesn't have a relationship with you Lord or that maybe just feels overwhelmed by the circumstances

in their life, would you win tonight? Would you win? Amen. Well hello friends in the room and friends
