0:23.7	Hey, I'm going to start with reading the passage and first Peter was taking out tonight.
0:26.5	So you guys open if you have a Bible and first Peter with me.
0:29.0	Now we'll read it and then pray and we'll dive in.
0:31.8	First Peter chapter 1, starting at verse 6, is this, Peter writing,
0:36.4	in this, talking about the eternal inheritance,
0:39.0	JP talked about last week, you rejoice.
0:41.9	Though now for a little while, if necessary,
0:45.0	you have been grieved by various trials.
0:48.7	So that the tested genuineness of your faith,
0:50.9	more precious than gold that perishes, though it,
0:54.5	like your faith, is tested by fire, not by trials.
0:58.9	Maybe found a result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ
1:03.8	when Jesus comes back.
1:06.8	Though you have not seen Him, Jesus, you love Him.
1:10.4	Though you do not see Him, now you believe in Him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible
1:16.2	and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
1:22.6	Concerning this salvation, the prophets, that's the Old Testament,
1:25.7	who prophesied about the grace that was to be yours,
1:28.8	searched and inquired carefully, inquiring what person or time the Spirit of Christ in them
1:35.8	was indicating when He predicted the sufferings of Christ in the Old Testament
