Ellis, there was a phenomenon that you spoke to me about,

and you left me a three-minute-long WhatsApp voice note about it, in fact,

but I simply couldn't find any evidence for it,

so we couldn't get it into the episode.

But essentially, summed up very briefly,

this phenomenon you found in mid-90s football adverts.

It's library footage or stock footage that sound menus in the dub, as they say in the biz. So if you need the sound of a football crowd

cheering a goal, you'd think, oh great, I've got generic football crowd cheering a goal noise here, option A.

What bothered me so much in the 90s was that it wasn't generic because you could tell that it was a very specific goal,

because you could hear one person distinctly above everyone else going, yank!

And it was the fact that this one person's going, is what makes it so distinctive, and they're preventing it from being generic. And also you can tell that they're using the CM1. And for some reason, that really, really annoyed me. Okay. So after you told me about this, I thought, I'm going to spend the next two weeks researching this. Obviously, I didn't do that. And even if I did, I don't reckon I would have found it.

But producer Phil, who has already clarified that it was indeed keeping up appearances

that we were talking about earlier, has come up Trump's.
