Now on to our readings. And shalom and welcome back. Pastor Mike Goli here for another

episode of public reading of scripture. So we had Christmas, we had New Year's, and now we're back

ready to listen to the Word of God. A lot of events have transpired over the last two weeks.

In addition to Christmas and New Year's, I am happy to tell you that my daughter, my oldest daughter, was just married this past

Sunday. So we rejoice over that. We also look forward to our Israel tour coming up here in February. Iran is making threats. The war on terror continues.

And of course, we have the riots in Minneapolis. And we will talk about that later, connected to

the scripture. We won't make this a political or news commentary,

but there will be some incidental comments due to the nature of tonight's readings,

particularly Act 7, mind you. So it is really good to see you all. We're going to open up the chat.

We're going to spend a little time chatting as well.

So we're going to do two chapters.

Before we do, let's ask the Lord for his blessing and prayer.
