I hope that you guys have heard the news.

Last night, they finally pulled the public land disposal out of the reconciliation bill.

It's been all over Instagram and Facebook and everything else for the last, oh, about 12 hours now.

The first time that I seen it on anything was about 7.30 last night.

Sam Soholt, buddy of ours, buddy of the podcast, posted a link to a field and stream article.

And then I spent about the next two and a half hours trying to get it confirmed from other people, which finally happened about 9 o'clock, 930.

I got it confirmed from Ben Brett again from Anex, Ryan Callahan from Meat Eater, Patrick Beery, president of BHA, and a couple other people.

So I wanted to just make sure that something, you know, bad information hadn't been leaked or, you know, whatever.

But as it turns out, Field and Stream was exactly correct.

So I'm going to go ahead and read you part of this little article from Field and Stream.

A slew of brands and conservation groups in the hunting and fishing industry spoke out after an amendment made headlines on May 7th for everyone from the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership, TRCP,

and the Congressional Sportsman Foundation CSF expressed opposition. Opposition, or opponents said the

sell-off would have bypassed public input and diverted money from public land sales away from the

conservation efforts.
