Summary
On February 16th, 2011, police officers arrived at an elementary school in Irvine, California, demanding to speak with PTA president and school volunteer Kelli Peters after receiving an anonymous tip claiming she had been driving erratically around the school and had drugs in her car. Officers searched Kelli’s vehicle and discovered marijuana, a pipe, and prescription pills inside. Kelli insisted they weren’t hers and pleaded with the officers, who agreed the circumstances seemed suspicious. But no one could have prepared for the truth that would eventually come to light.
