Today having a chat with Kevin Baltic, the founder of Horizons, PBC, and the world-famous

conferences around the subjects of psychedelic studies.

So we chatted very recently about the Horizons bus parking itself in Portland, Oregon in a month's time.

So fantastic to hear the origin story of Horizons, New York.

This is going to be their 15th year of doing the work

and kind of where that vision came from. And it was starting because there just simply wasn't a

place to talk openly for people to meet, to kind of come out the shadows, to discuss the research,

the science, the trials and just the real-life experiences of using

psychedelics and helping people to kind of use them safely. So that's kind of where it came from

in that church basement 15 years ago. And now it's moving to a beautiful art gallery in Portland,

Oregon for a similar reason because there's amazing things

happening in Oregon. And Kevin's saying that that's a place where it needs to be right now.

And we're going to help to kind of germinate the power, the essence that is coming down the

pipeline in Portland because of the psilocybin act. It's complicated stuff. So this is going to be an opportunity for

people to kind of group together from different levels of the ecosystem to talk about how do we

work together on this complicated project and how do we make sure that local people that might

not be those with big VC money attached, but they can be part of this unfolding,

this kind of ecosystem that's going to be very unique in Oregon, grassroots up.

So the conference itself is now four days.

So that's a change.
