Hello, everybody, welcome back to Segat Alex today. This is Joe Moore, recording in Miami,

Florida at the tail end of the Wonderland Conference. It was pretty

cool. So today on the show, this is our U.S. Veterans Day episode. I had the opportunity to record

with three friends of mine, all anonymous, so no names. And it's about their personal experience,

doing non-clinical, naturalistic, psychedelics,

to fit in where the medical system available to them wasn't coming anywhere close to meeting their needs. And this is a deeply personal topic for me. I know these people, I have a lot of baggage

around a lot of traditional medicine and, you know, why we do this is a good reason, a good portion of the reason why we do this is to improve medicine generally,

mental health stuff, most particularly, but there's a lot of other implications,

you know, fields that we can improve to help people. I think you can really hear the amount of

suffering in these folks voices, you know, and they've come through a lot. They've done a ton

sense, really really interesting really cool

live since but it took finding psychedelics and developing an interesting relationship with them

to really really help them move along so i think you're going to like this one i think a lot of

people might also get triggered there's a lot going on in this episode there's a lot of depth there's a lot of people might also get triggered. There's a lot going on in this episode.

There's a lot of depth.

There's a lot unsaid.

And yeah, anyway, the veterans topic is close to me, close to my heart.

And I really hope we can move things forward in a positive direction to help veterans,

to help their families and help everybody. This is a really

important topic, psychedelics, and we really need to be positive stewards here. So take this well,

please. We're not trying to hurt people's feelings. We're trying to tell the truth about experience

of people who've gone through this really crazy system.
