Hello and welcome back everybody to psychedelics today. This is Joe Moore coming at you from an undisclosed location.

I am on the road and I'll be at the meet Delic conference Saturday and Sunday and the following

couple days I'll be in Miami for another conference.

So that's why we had to do some different stuff for today's episode.

So no Solidarity Friday as normal with Kyle and I today.

We do have a very special guest today.

We have Rachel Yehuda, PhD, professor of psychiatry and neuroscience at the ICAN School of Medicine at Mount Sinai,

really incredible person and massive contributor to the PTSD research space. Yeah, Rachel will actually

be a keynote speaker at Wonderland in Miami, which is going to be pretty cool.

And we'd love to congratulate Rachel on being awarded an endowed chair by the Mount Sinai School of Medicine last week.

Endowed chairs are pretty awesome.

So I'm really happy that Rachel has this.

And I'm very excited to see what goes on there.

It's going to be really, really cool to see what can get produced in Rachel's work.

Since Rachel is tied in with the VA in the United States, and yeah, is definitely a leading expert on PTSD globally and has contributed a ton

there.

So she's actively doing psychedelic work while research.

And we get into some really great stuff in this podcast.

So Rachel and I had the chance to connect briefly on this panel for, I think it was the Sytech Summit a while back.

And Rachel was part of this panel.

I was moderating along with Rick Doblin, Robin Carhart Harris, and Matt Johnson.

So really cool to get to talk to Rachel a little bit there.
