All right, so Kristen wanted some public accountability and this happens in the majority.

I would say of new parents also, man, you're so busy taking care of the new one that you

sort of start to alienate yourselves and you don't put yourself as far as a priority

as a couple.

And Barton, I and my husband and I have learned this the hard way as we've experienced

at ourself.

We have our first child, Jimmy.

He's a little over a year now.

And that first year is there's a, when it's your first child, it's a huge learning curve

and you're basically, you're not, well, we weren't thriving.

We were just surviving.

And you finally start to get into our rhythm and get your schedule figured out.

And once they start sleeping through the night and then you're not sleep deprived.

But Barton and I's relationship had definitely taken, like had taken a back seat.

It was on the back burner.

And a lot of people I've talked to, you have to, it takes effort.

I mean, everything in life takes effort.

But it's even especially your marriage and your relationship takes effort and you have

to make each other a priority.

And that is important because it's going to end up not only making you better partners

but making you better parents.
