It's kind of an old cliche of advice that if you want to start losing weight or you want to form a new habit,

make yourself responsible to other people.

So you sort of feel the pressure that, look, if I don't make this, everybody kind of knows

about it.

What we do is we call that humiliation, our motivation by humiliation. And our producer here, Jackson Kim, is experiencing this right now.

This was all his idea, by the way.

So for those that didn't hear it, what is your goal and why?

What was the motivation here to get into

better shape because I'm looking at you you look behind us? Well thank you for that.

He's like I don't want to look fine. I want to look great. I think a big part of it is

honestly knowing like what I have looked like in the past and

then seeing myself now and doing the whole big comparison whenever I see pictures now.

Are you comparing you to like your 18 year old self though? Because those days aren't awful.

No.

And it's not like you're old or anything,

but back when you're like 17 or 18,

you just, you could pick up a Coke and you get a bicycle.

No, I'm comparing myself to even like a year ago and that's where like the shocking

kind of comparisons come in where I see like you know these pictures and I'm like

wow I I didn't think that I was in that great shape these pictures.

I didn't think that I was in that great shape now, but now I know that something has changed
