they are praying in heaven i i get that i'm there at this point um the the part that i'm struggling

is like the and if i'm praying not to an icon but forgive me like a icon is i kind of saint

george like the idea that he hears like my particular prayer if I'm asking for his intercessory prayer

because on a Sunday like the Patriot Saint of the local parish that I went to that I've gone to a few

times of St. George that he could hear everybody's prayers all at once. It just seems like something

attributed to a saint or to somebody in heaven that I've always kind of viewed as something to God.

Well, the saints are deified.

So they're participating in the uncreated energies of God.

And that's the, that's the means by which they're able to do those things.

So without God, without that uncreated energy and power, they would not be able to do that.

But because of divine grace, they are able to do that but okay because of divine grace

they are able to do those things and uh go ahead and is that just taught in tradition like where can i

maybe read more on that or understand that but i well i mean it's a theological conclusion from a bunch

of dogmas that are taught like if theosis is true if uncreated energies are true and if we see in revelation 5 through 9 the saints in offering the prayers of the of the church on earth and the angels are offering the prayers of the church on earth um that's like to me that's just an obvious proof okay you know what I'm talking about in

revelation I know that you're not good at recalling immediately I've tried to listen to

right so if you read five through nine chapters five through nine you will see that when

John looks into heaven and we believe that John is celebrating the liturgy and he has this vision of the

heavenly liturgy and he sees in heaven he sees this worship service going on with the lamb slain

so by the way he's slain in heaven and uh so there's this liturgical service happening and there's

vestments there's incense there's an altar there's an altar, there's martyrs,

they are offering the prayers and we believe our interpretation is that it's the same as the church
