Our kids are home indefinitely. Classes are cancelled. Parties, sporting events and extracurriculars - all gone for now. Today I want to talk to you about how to help our kids adapt to what is becoming the new normal with the coronavirus.

And I did do an episode last week, so I wasn't going to do an episode this week about it, but it feels weird to talk about anything else

because I know that we're kind of all getting inundated with information about this,

but I want to provide help for this because a lot of us are

raising kids with anxiety or OCD and have already had struggles and have kids already

kids already that can panic pretty easily.

And a lot of us, because the apple doesn't always fall

too far from the tree, have our own anxiety or OCD issues.

And so this is beyond triggering

for a lot of families.

For my family, I'm sure for maybe many of your families.

So I thought it would be helpful. I was supposed to be away this week, so that didn't happen.

We were supposed to go on a cruise to Mexico. So as that was getting closer and closer,

the probability of us taking that risk went smaller

and smaller to, that's ridiculous, there's no way we can do that.
