Welcome to AT Parenting Survival Podcast, where you get supporting guidance through the chaos of parenting.

0:07.0

Here's your host, Child Therapist Natasha Daniels.

0:11.0

Well, hello there, and welcome to another episode of the AT Parenting Surveillance

0:16.1

podcast. I hope you're having a phenomenal day and today we're going to talk all

0:21.0

about ERP exposure response prevention and I invited

0:26.1

Dr Martin Shaw to come and have a chat with me to spread his wisdom and for us to

0:31.6

talk together about what ERP is and why it's so

0:42.2

clinical director at CBT SoCal.

0:45.0

0:49.4

anxiety disorders, OCD in various forms, as well as CBT, and they also deal with Tricotillomania and a whole

1:14.7

talking to him. So before we get into my conversation with Martin, I want to talk a little

1:19.9

bit about what's going on in the AT parenting community as a whole. So I am

1:25.9

busy brewing up a new online class for how to handle difficult behaviors in kids

1:32.1

with anxiety and OCD because their behaviors are very

1:36.0

different than our other kids.

1:39.3

And sometimes we don't know how to handle those behaviors because all the typical parenting

1:42.4

approaches just are not working.

1:45.1

So if you are interested in getting on the wait list for that class, it's an online class that

1:51.1

you can take at your own pace.
