Well, hello there, and welcome to another episode of the AT Parenting Survival

Podcast. I hope you're doing good today. Today I want to talk to you all about

sensory because a lot of our kids with anxiety or OCD have sensory issues.

Now not all of them have sensory processing disorder, although some do, but a lot of our kids

are either hyper or hypo-sensitive and that can create its own unique

challenges.

And I find, even in my own home especially, that when I use some sensory approaches, I can really help calm my kids down

quicker and I can even help them self-regulate. So I wanted to bring on an

expert someone who talks about sensory all the time. So I invited Cameron from sensory mom.com to come in and share her expertise. And she was a joy to talk to and had some really good tips on how to one figure out what your child

sensory needs are even if they don't have a disorder and some fun interesting

helpful ways to bring some sensory interventions to your home that are simple and easy to do.
