Summary

She’s been in school for two hours. An hour longer than yesterday. I reluctantly answer my phone. “Mom,” I hear her say. “I’m feeling really sick. Can you pick me up?” My daughter doesn’t have the stomach flu. She doesn’t have the latest virus. a metaphobia, which is a fancy name for fear of throw-up.

0:31.0

So a fear of throwing up or a fear of seeing someone throw up. It really can go both ways or it can

0:37.8

go always. And it's actually one of the most common anxiety themes that I see in my practice.

0:47.0

And also that I hear on my private Facebook group, which obviously makes sense because if I am seeing a disproportionate amount of kids coming in with that

0:55.8

type of phobia, obviously in a private Facebook group that is based on anxiety and OCD, they would have a lot of talks about that. So,

1:06.0

side note, but if you are not in my private Facebook group, you should be because

1:23.5

OCD in their kids and we all have great experiences based on our own

1:29.4

children and when you put your minds together and you collaborate together, then you get some great suggestions.
