| 1:11.0 | So I want to talk about that today, but I do have to say, first, before I even get started, that our kids are going to totally survive. I think there is this whole philosophy right now, and I don't know if my parents and your parents had this issue as well and I just didn't know it because I was a kid, |
| 1:29.0 | but I feel like, you know, we're constantly scrutinized as parents and everybody's got an opinion and |
| 1:36.6 | everyone's got the latest and greatest book or read the latest and greatest blog post |
| 1:41.6 | or is in that special mommy group and with all of those |
| 1:47.4 | things and all that information it's like we shouldn't do this and you shouldn't do that |
| 1:50.7 | and you know this is bad this is good and I feel like it makes all of our head |
| 1:55.7 | spin and I'm a child therapist and it makes my head spin I'm here to tell you that |
| 2:01.7 | you know our kids are going to survive. I survived and we would pile up into the station wagon and they didn't have seatbelts. You know, there's a lot of things going on back in my day that we would never do now. |
