by Cynthia Chang. This story is a Sudapod original. Cynthia Chang is a PhD student in comparative

studies in literature and culture at the University of Southern California. Her novel,

After the Dragons, was published with Steleform Press in 2021 and was shortlisted for the 2022

Schlerke-Leguin Award in fiction as well as the 2022 Utopia Awards in the category of Utopian

Neveller. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in SolarPunk magazine, Zinnah Kultavers,

stories of queer growth, collided trope, on the speck, phantom drift and other venues.

Honorator this week is Sarah Ealy. Sarah sent us this bio. Sarah Ealy is the original producer,

editor and host of escape pod. She is pronounced her name as Steve Ealy at the time, but has since

realised that life is much more fun as a woman and came out as transgender in 2015.

Sarah lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her two spouses. She prefers spice,

saidi and cat. So if there were ever any betting pools on what happened to Steve,

the dark horse winner is changed sex and joined a committed lesbian love triangle.

She is obviously still having fun. And now we have a story for you and we promise you it's true.
