Hello everyone, welcome to Sudapod The Weekly Horror Podcast.

I'm Alistair, your host and this week's story first or print in Weird Tales

back in May 1926, and this is in fact part of our 1926 showcase.

Regarding the author, sadly, while he or she or they published three stories in Weird Tales,

there is almost no information available about BW Sliny, and thus, very little to say about them.

Your reader this week is John Bell, so without further ado, we have a story for you,

and we promise you, it's true.

The Man Who Was Saved by BW Sliny, read by John Bell.

Only I Escape.

The man whom they had found adrift in the door hung his head.

The others. The listeners bent nearer to catch us throatily whispered words.

The others. It got them. That monstrous curved thing.

His eyes rolled back, showing bloodshot whites, his body tensed, and then he shook,

as with the AU, his attempt to say more resulted in stuttering failure.

He admittedly put to bed, the ship's doctor said. His nerves are all gone. He didn't thirst

and exposure, of course. The hallucinations, he'll come out of it in time.
