Maria is a Swedish Canadian writer and translator.

She writes speculative fiction and debuted as a writer in Sweden in the far-off era known as the 1980s. In 1992 she moved to Canada and she

currently lives outside Vancouver with a husband two kids and a very large black

dog. Her fiction has appeared in beneath ceaseless skies, escape pod, illiterate,

kaleidotrope, shimmer, cast of wonders, bracken, as well as here on Pseudopod both previously and forthcoming.

A Strange Heart set in Felds Bar was first published in 2018 in the anthology Abandoned Places by Shahola Press.

Our narrator this week is Jen R Albert.

Jen is an entomologist, writer, editor, narrator, game player, cos player, streamer, reader of all of the things and

haver of far too many hobbies.
