And so with that, let's get into the word. Again, really looking forward to what the Lord has for us tonight.

Interesting Psalms. We're going to, Lord willing, do three Psalms tonight, Psalm 110 through Psalm 112.

Thank you for this time that we have on Thursday nights in the middle of the week as we approach and near the weekend to just come together for our time together in your word and put aside all the busyness of our lives, all the distractions, all the cares and the affairs and

just come to this beautiful church that you've given us and quiet our hearts and focus our attention

on you and on your word and what you have for us in your word. Lord, we're really looking forward

to what it is that you would desire to minister to us tonight.

We want to be open to receive whatever it is that you would speak into our lives in and through your word,

as uncomfortable as it might be, especially with some of the subject matter we're going to be talking about in the Psalms tonight.

Lord, I pray that you'll give us ears to hear and hearts to receive as you do speak in that

still small voice of the Holy Spirit.

So Lord, will you speak? Your servants are listening.

In Jesus' name, amen. All right, Psalm 110. These are short Psalms. And Psalm 10 is very interesting.

It starts off, very interesting. We're told it's a Psalm of David.

Verse 1, the Lord said to my Lord. What? Well, what this is, is Jesus saying to David that he's not just the son of David or the descendant of David, but

he's also David's Lord. That's why the first Lord is all capitalized and then the second

Lord is a capital L. So the Lord said to my Lord, sit at my right hand
