was episode 2,999. Today is episode 3,000. Wow. Thank you Jesus for giving me a voice for

3,000 5-minute episodes. I am so grateful to you for your sustenance, for this amazing audience. I pray a blessing on them today on this 3,000th episode, and I'm humbled that you have given me voice. I am grateful for the Word of God. I am so utterly thankful for prayer that it is a

privilege that we can do at any moment of any day in any time, any space, any conundrum, any

brokenness, any joy we can pray. And it is such a holy privilege to do so, Lord. And I know that I

didn't intend to begin this podcast with prayer,

but I just couldn't help it because you are good and you have sustained through all of this.

And I give you all the glory and all the praise.

All right.

Today I am in the belly of Psalm 78. We're going to be reading

verses 23 through 45 in the World English Bible. This is what it says. Yet he commanded the skies

above and opened the doors of heaven. He rained down manna on them to eat and gave them food from the sky.

Man ate the bread of angels. He sent them food to the full. He caused the east wind to blow in the sky.

By his power he guided the south wind. He also reigned meat on them as the dust, winged birds as the sand of the seas.

He let them fall in the middle of their camp around their habitations. So they ate and they were

well filled. He gave them their own desire. They didn't turn from their cravings. Their food was

yet in their mouths. When the anger of God went up against them, killed some of them of their strongest, and struck down the young men of Israel.

For all this, they still sinned and didn't believe in his wondrous works.
