privilege of praying you through the Bible verse by verse. Super excited to have you here today on this

i read the bible right now we're reading through all of the psalms we're going to jump to the new

testament in just a little bit when we're done going through all the psalms and then i pray for you

according to what i have just read to you so hopefully it helps you to learn how to pray the Word of God and maybe it gives

some words to your own prayers. And also it's such a privilege that I get to pray for you every

single day. All right, today I'm going to be reading from two Psalms, Psalm 142 and 143. I'll stop

after each one and pray for you according to that one. Psalm 142 in the World English Bible.

This one is a contemplation by David when he was in the cave, a prayer.

I cry with my voice to Yahweh.

With my voice I ask Yahweh for mercy.

I pour out my complaint before him.

I tell him my troubles. When my spirit was overwhelmed within me,

you knew my route. On the path in which I walk, they have hidden a snare for me. Look on my right

and see, for there is no one who is concerned for me. Refuge has fled from me. No one cares for my soul. I cried to you, Yahweh. I said you are my refuge,

my portion in the land of the living. Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need. Deliver me

from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me. Bring my soul out of prison that I may give

thanks to your name. The righteous will surround

me, for you will be good to me. Mind if I pray for you. Lord, you are good to us, and I just pray that

you'd open our eyes to see how good you are to us, that we could be a people of remembrance
