Hello there. This is Mary Demuth and this is Pray Every Day where I pray you through the Bible

verse by verse so humbled and grateful that you take your time every day to hear the Word of God

and to be prayed for. I hope and pray that me praying scripture maybe is helpful for you or maybe it

informs your prayer life. And I do pray that, you know, I just want to pray for those of you right now

who have these longstanding prayers that haven't been answered. So Lord Jesus, I lift up my friend today

who's got a five-year prayer, a 10-year prayer, a 20, 30, 40, 50-year

prayer that has not yet been answered, and they are waiting on you.

They are trusting in you.

And I pray for breakthrough this week.

Or at least show them that you see it.

You are in the process of answering that prayer and give us the peace as we wait.

I pray in Jesus' name. Amen. Today I'm reading

from Psalm 137 and 138 in the World English Bible, and this is what it says. By the rivers 137,

by the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down. Yes, we wept when we remembered Zion. On the willows in that land, we hung up our

harps. For there, those who led us captive asked us for songs, those who tormented us and demanded

songs of joy. Sing us one of the songs of Zion. How can we sing Yahweh's song in a foreign land?

If I forget you, Jerusalem, let my right hand forget its skill.

Let my tongue stick to the roof of my mouth if I don't remember you.

If I don't prefer Jerusalem above my chief joy.

Remember Yahweh against the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem who said it, raise it, raise it even to its foundation.

Daughter of Babylon doomed to destruction, he will be happy who repays you as you have done to us.

Happy shall he be who takes and dashes your little ones against the rock? Mind if I pray for you.
