Hey everyone, this is Mary Demuth and this is pray every day where I pray you through the Bible verse by verse on the seventh day of May.

I hope you're having an amazing day.

And right now I feel burden to pray for those who are battling cancer.

And so Jesus, I know how it is such a stressful, scary, frightening disease. And so I pray for

my friends battling it right now that your peace that passes all understanding would guard their

hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. I pray that all treatments would be helpful and slow the progress

of the cancer down or eradicate it completely.

I pray that you would heighten their sense of the preciousness of life and give them amazing

reconciliations and conversations in the middle of this battle. I pray that they would renew friendships that have

been broken and that in this time they would just seize every single day as precious from you.

I pray that they'd have an attitude of gratitude in the middle of their suffering and that their

suffering would mean something in the kingdom of

God and that many would come to know you because of the way they're suffering well. I pray this in

Jesus' name. Amen. All right, today I'm reading from Psalm 136 in the World English Bible,

and this is what it says. Give thanks to Yahweh for He is good for his loving kindness endures forever.

Give thanks to the God of gods for his loving kindness endures forever. Give thanks to the

Lord of Lords for his loving kindness endures forever. To him who alone does great wonders,

for his loving kindness endures forever. To him who by understanding

made the heavens, for his loving kindness endures forever. To him who spread out the earth above the

waters, for his loving kindness endures forever. To him who made the great lights, for his loving

kindness endures forever, the sun to rule by day,

for his loving kindness endures forever, the moon and the stars to rule by night,
