Hey everyone, this is Mary Demuth and this is Pray Every Day, where I pray you through the Bible verse by verse.

Super grateful to have you here today.

And today I'm going to be reading two Psalms for you, Psalm 114 and 115 in the World English Bible.

And I'll pause after each one because that's what I've been doing with these Psalms.

So here we go.

When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of foreign language, Judah

became his sanctuary. Israel, his dominion. The sea saw it and fled. The Jordan was driven back.

The mountains skipped like rams. The little hills like lambs. What was it you see that you fled?

You Jordan that you turned back. You mountains that you skipped like rbs. What was it you see that you fled, you Jordan that you turned back, you mountains

that you skipped like rams, you little hills like lambs? Tremble, you earth, at the presence of the

Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob, who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into

are capable of doing things like providing water in the wilderness and water in the desert. You are

capable of dividing the sea in half. You are capable of removing mountains from their foundations

because you created all those things. So therefore, you are in of removing mountains from their foundations because you created all those things so therefore

you are in control you are in dominion over those things and so lord if that is true and since it is

true we don't have to be worried we do not have to stress we do not have to try to carry the burden of our own burdens every single day.

We can actually entrust them to you.

So we choose to do that right now, Lord.

We choose to unburden ourselves and give you the things that are bothering us, relationships, money, health, church situations, broken bones,

broken marriages. We just give it all to you, Lord, and we know that since you're the God of the

mountains, the God of the sea, the God of the rivers, that you will hear our prayers because we are
